A reissue of two albums originally put out on
Atco in 1967. They are some of King Curtis's finest recordings at
Atlantic records from the late sixties. His version of "I Never Loved A Man" is a brilliant soul instrumental of this classic tune. I recently saw one of the original albums for sale at £50, which makes these two LP's on one CD seem like a very good bargain. It has an excellent package with the original covers and back sleeve notes, even if you need a magnifying glass to read them!. Issued on KOCH KOC-CD-8015 USA. |
